Airbag live in Sweden

Written on 25.08.2010 | Newsblog

We had a great time in Gothenburg, Sweden last weekend at the Slotsskogen Goes Progressive festival. A big thanks to all of our Swedish fans and the guys in GARF for hosting such a fine festival!

After a short summer break we’re continuing working on the new album. Things are beginning to take form and we’re very excited to hear what slowly start to sound like an album.

Don’t forget our shows this autumn at the Ino-Rock Festival in Inowroclaw, Poland saturday September 11 and at Gamla in Oslo, Norway on September 18 together with The Reasoning. We’re planning a couple more shows so stay tuned.

Recording sessions – update

Written on 18.05.2010 | Newsblog

We’ll be starting the recording sessions for the next Airbag album this thursday – a week earlier than first announced.

We’ll record basic drum tracks and work throughout the summer and early spring with guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals and general overdubs. We want the best result possible and don’t expect anything to be finished this year but we’re aiming for an early 2011 release. We don’t want to reveal too much right now but we’re extremely proud of the new material and think it’s gonna be a step in the right direction for Airbag!

Stay tuned for updates, pictures and perhaps a snippet or two here on our web site and on our Facebook page!

Recording sessions for new Airbag album!

Written on 25.03.2010 | Newsblog

We’ll be starting the recording sessions for our new album – the follow up to Idenity – on May 27! The plan is to record basic tracks with drums first and then work throughout the summer and early spring with guitars, keyboard and vocals. Too early to tell when it will be finished but we’ll keep you all posted during the process!

As earlier announced, due to Joachim’s departure, Henrik Fossum will be playing drums on the album.

We have lots of new songs that we intend to record and some of them will end up on the record. We’re extremely excited and proud and can’t wait for you all to hear it!
